The recent excavations at keezhadi has brought to the general public – the awareness about importance of museums. It was a surprise to me that there are a number of museums already available in tamilnadu, the recent one being the fossil museum at ariyalur opened by Tamilnadu Chief Minister in 2019. In this post I collected the list of museums from various sources and presented below. The list excludes museums in Chennai which are well known to the general public.
