Life is full of surprises. After posting about the book review, i started experiencing pain in my ears every night at random times. After two days of this sudden pain, My lymphatic node near the back of neck swelled up. In another two days, i had difficulty in swallowing food with an everlasting throat pain. And my weight dropped by 2 kg in two days from 70 to 68. This was the alarm point for me. Approached the ENT specialist and came to know that my left side of throat is completely blocked with infection around tonsils. She immediately took a sample and sent to lab for testing. Also my blood sample was taken and tested. WBC count, CRP-C reactive protein and Lymphocytes count was very high indicating the infection and everything else was within normal limits. I was administered with antibiotic injection for three times a day for three continuous days. Had to take all the injections in only one arm. My throat pain subsided and the blockage dissolved. Now i am back to normal. Throughout this period tried to remain calm and positive and it really helped me to comeback sooner. Never once i thought ‘why for me again’. Surprised myself by being positive. With pain i could not be any productive and ended up watching the korean series ‘Hometown cha cha cha’. In the next ten days x-ray ill be taken and my right arm will get some freedom. Life is full of surprises, twists and turns and i am ready for the next.
